Reynosa, Tam.-
Allow yourself to be pampered, when you gain confidence, walk slowly on the floor, touch one of your legs and then purr: it is the cat, a pet that in these days of a pandemic is useful to reduce stress.
Felines are sometimes not in the mood and decide not to play with their masters, but they are also the most affectionate domestic animals there can be.
Having a cat at home is perhaps one of the best decisions you can make because after a long and tiring day, coming home and listening to the purr is a calming feeling.
Did you know it? Studies revealed that people with pets tend to be happier and healthier than those who do not have them.
Although caring for and feeding it implies a responsibility, having a fluffy friend has its advantages:
• They reduce the accumulated stress of the day.
• They help lower blood pressure.
• When we sleep with our cat, he helps us sleep better.
• They benefit to have a strengthened immune system and recovering from diseases.
• They are very affectionate and have a great character, but we must respect their independence because they require less care than other pets.
• They can help you recover faster from emotional trauma, such as the death of a loved one.
In short, having a furry friend is very good for your health, although it should be mentioned that it carries great responsibility, especially if you raise it from birth.
Do not forget that they can also cause mischief and tear some curtain in the house, but it is part of their growth to reach their adulthood: take it and stroke its fur and be a good companion, even if it seems distant at times. (With information of Denisse Narváez)
